The symmetry group folds the whole sphere into one fundamental cell; the height field is evaluated there and reflected into every cell, so any function comes out symmetric — and printable. Math is sampled on the folded 3D point: gyroid & quasicrystal are genuinely volumetric. Add the pen on top, then export STL (watertight, ~40 mm).
